1. About My Life Inbox

My Life Inbox is a personal productivity application that helps users organise information from their connected accounts and supported services.

2. Google and Gmail Data

When you connect a Google account, My Life Inbox requests access only to the Google data necessary to provide the features that you choose to use.

My Life Inbox uses the Gmail read-only scope (gmail.readonly) to retrieve Gmail messages so that they can be displayed, organised, and processed within the My Life Inbox application.

My Life Inbox does not use the Gmail API to send, modify, delete, or change Gmail messages.

My Life Inbox does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data for advertising.

3. How Google User Data Is Used

Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide the functionality of My Life Inbox requested by the user.

This includes retrieving, displaying, organising, categorising, and processing Gmail information within My Life Inbox where those functions are requested by the user.

Google user data is not used for advertising, creditworthiness or lending purposes, or to sell information to third parties.

My Life Inbox does not use Google user data to create, train, or improve generalized or foundational artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

4. AI Processing and OpenAI

My Life Inbox uses the OpenAI API as a third-party AI service to provide AI-powered functionality within the application.

My Life Inbox connects directly to the OpenAI API and does not use an AI aggregator, model gateway, or multi-model platform.

When an AI-powered feature requested by the user requires processing information from a connected account, relevant information may be transmitted to the OpenAI API solely for the purpose of providing that requested My Life Inbox functionality.

My Life Inbox does not use Google user data for OpenAI model training or for creating, training, or improving generalized or foundational AI or machine learning models.

My Life Inbox has not opted in to share Google user data with OpenAI for model training or model improvement.

OpenAI processes API data according to the terms and policies applicable to its API services.

5. Third-Party Services

MyLife Inbox uses third-party services to provide application functionality. These currently include Google APIs for Google account and Gmail functionality and the OpenAI API for AI-powered functionality.

Third-party services receive information only when necessary to provide the functionality requested by the user and are subject to their applicable terms and policies.

My Life Inbox does not sell Google user data to third parties.

6. Data Security

My Life Inbox uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information associated with connected accounts.

7. Data Retention and Account Disconnection

My Life Inbox retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the application's functionality and operate the service.

You can disconnect a connected Google account from My Life Inbox. You can also revoke My Life Inbox's access through your Google Account settings.

8. Google Limited Use Compliance

My Life Inbox's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The use of raw or derived user data received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features that are appropriate to the functionality of My Life Inbox and that are requested by the user.

Google user data is not used to create, train, or improve generalized or foundational AI or machine learning models.

My Life Inbox does not use Google user data for advertising or sell Google user data to third parties.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to My Life Inbox, our services, or applicable requirements. The updated policy will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
